Lifeline Healthcare Education was founded in 1992, as an American Heart Association Community Training Center, by Marla Chappelear RN, CCRN, CNRN, with the express purpose of creating an educational experience that would give our students the ability to act confidently, and in a leadership role, in an emergency situation. She and her colleagues have worked tirelessly to that end for over 16 years. We (and our satellite training centers) have trained over 43,000 students in a relaxing atmosphere where "Questions are encouraged and the material presented to you is the material you will need not only to pass the course, but to use effectively in the real world of both the healthcare and community settings."

Our staff of dedicated instructors come from the healthcare and emergency services sectors. They include:

Ann Scott RN, CEN, NCEMSE15 years as education coordinator for Emergency Dept. and Paramedic Services. Instructor for AHA ACLS, PALS and BLS. AHA Regional Faculty and Director of Lifeline's ACLS and PALS programs.

Suzie Kennedy RN, MSN: AHA Regional Faculty with 20 years experience as a emergency room nurse. Instructor for AHA ACLS, PALS and BLS.

Andy Scott: Instructor for AHA CPR and 1st Aid for 10 years. Director of Lifeline's BLS programs.

Karen Sims RN: AHA Regional Faculty. 20 years critical care nurse. Instructor for AHA ACLS, PALS and BLS.

Tarek Greiss, MD: anesthesiologist  and an instructor for AHA ACLS, PALS and BLS.

Michele Wolfe RN, MSN: 20 years Professor of Nursing Education, Saddleback College. Instructor for AHA PALS and BLS.

Brad McReynolds: 20 years Certified Athletic Trainer and Health Educator, Saddleback College. Instructor for AHA CPR and 1st Aid.

Marco Olmos EMT: 5 years Orange County Volunteer Fire Fighter and educator. Teaches AHA CPR and 1st Aid in Spanish and English.

Sean Frick EMT: 3 years Orange County Volunteer Fire Fighter and educator. Instructor for AHA CPR and 1st Aid.

Chris Nelson EMT: 4 years Riverside County EMS and educator experience. Instructor for AHA CPR and 1st Aid.

John Voris: Orange County Paramedic and educator. Instructor for AHA CPR and 1st Aid.
